This perfomance at Lancing is part of their 2008 tour. Joel Pattison, OL Teme 2000 - 2005, a founder member of Lancing's Polysonics, is in his third year as a member of this prestigious group. http://www.yale.edu/spizzwinks. View of Old Shoreham Tollbridge Work began to restore the Grade II listed Old Shoreham Tollbridge on 3rd March 2008. It is hoped to restore it to it's former glory and safeguard it's future for years to come. It is now closed to the public until work is completed by the end of August. Raising money for the old bridge has been the toughest of challenges, to date nearly £400,000 of the £500,000 has been raised, but unfortunately the Old Shoreham Tollbridge Community Trust has to raise another £95,000 in the next three years to complete the cost of restoration. One of the Trust's fundraising ideas is to compile a booklet containing memories of the Old Tollbridge, such as the night the bus went over the bridge on New Year's Eve 1947...Do any OLs remember this occasion or any other Tollbridge anecdotes from their Lancing days?! All memories, comic or serious would be much appreciated!

Ronnie Corbett at Lancing Club Dinner Lancing Club Annual Dinner - The Law Society, London - 16th November 2007
This was the biggest, best and certainly the most expensive Club Dinner for many years. To create new interest in the annual dinner the Entertainments Committee looked far and wide for a new venue – and came up with The Law Society in Chancery Lane. A superb setting for Dinner, further decorated by our Guest of Honour - Ronnie Corbett - and the brilliant singing of Cantabile, the London Quartet.
