The Lancing Club Dinner 2010, Friday 5 November 2010 Written by Claire Welling    Friday, 05 November 2010 The 2010 Dinner will be another exclusive for the Club with the dinner taking place in the Strangers Dining Room at the House of Commons.  Sir Tim Rice, the Club President will be in attendance and the evening's entertainment will conclude with the guest speaker, Sir William  Gladstone, Bt, K.G. William Gladstone came as Head Master to Lancing from Eton, where he was a housemaster, in 1961. On retirement from Lancing he took over the family estates and became Chief Scout. We are delighted and privileged to welcome Sir William and look forward to a very memorable occasion. The whole evening has been made possible through the kind support of Robert Wilson, OL Second's 1959 - 1964, Principal Clerk of the Select Committees.
